Born and raised in central Illinois, I grew up with a love of the outdoors.  As a child, it wasn't uncommon for me to leave home in the morning and return just before dark.  I love to be outside.  I could cover miles and miles of terrain on my bicycle.  I still do this today, always wanting to see all that there is to offer in this world.

Along the way, I learned to photograph the special sights that I ran across.  Usually these weren't the normal subjects that appeared in mainstream photos, but more the chaos or beautiful mysteries in my everyday travels. You won't catch me without a camera within reach.  I even carry one on my motorcycle travels for those magic moments.

I believe that every moment in life is an adventure.  I find it exhilarating to be able to capture the best of these adventures and keep them to look back on later.

I am currently taking photography coursework, so do not consider myself a professional photographer....yet.  It is a form of creative art to me, and a passion.  I would like to build my portfolio and experience, so am currently offering my services on a volunteer basis.  Please see my services page to review the basic services that I provide.
